Mass Activities on the 98th Anniversary of the Destruction of the Khilafah

Hizb ut Tahrir in Kenya launched a series of mass activities in the mosques after Jumaa' prayer on the 98th Hijri anniversary of destruction of the Khilafah.

It reminded Muslims of the painful anniversary of the destruction of the Islamic Ummah on March 3, 1924. The Islamic Ummah continues to suffer due to its loss and urged Muslims to work with Hizb ut Tahrir to establish the Islamic way of life by establishing Khilafah (Caliphate) on the method of Prophethood.

28 Rajab 1440 AH - 04 April 2019 CE

On Monday, 25 Rajab Muharram 1440 AH corresponding to 1 April 2019 CE, Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya organized its live tour continues throughout various neighborhood meeting with people in the streets and markets to raise awareness about the conclusion of the economic campaign that the party had launched in Kenya, entitled "Increased Cost of Living: Islam is the Solution". The tour included visits to mosques and the reading of the press release entitled: Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya Successfully Concluded the Special Campaign under the theme - Increased Cost of Living: Islam is the Solution.

On Tuesday, 26 Rajab Muharram 1440 AH corresponding to 2 April 2019 CE – We organized massive distribution of the Press Statement entitled, Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya Successfully Concluded the Special Campaign under the theme - Increased Cost of Living: Islam is the Solution in the streets, markets etc. In addition, we sent a delegation to the Chinese Embassy in Kenya. The Delegation which was led by Head of Central Contact Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir / Kenya Arkanuddin Yassin accompanied by Shabani Mwalimu – Media Representative of Hizb Tahrir in Kenya. They arrived at the embassy in Nairobi at 8:56 a.m. EAT. The Chinese embassy refused to receive or acknowledge receipt of the Press Release issued by the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir entitled Khilafah will Liberate East Turkistan And will Free the Uyghurs from China's Criminal Oppression. Furthermore, Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir /Kenya issued a Press Statement entitled The Chinese State and Authorities Fear the Banner of La Ilaha illa Allah.

On Wednesday, Wednesday, 27 Rajab Muharram 1440 AH3 April 2019 – We organized picketing in the major cities of Kenya i.e Mombasa and Nairobi. The speakers who were led by Shabani Mwalimu –Media Representative of Hizb ut Tahrir in Kenya; highlighted the current plights of the Muslim Ummah across the world as a result of the destruction of the Khilafah on 28 Rajab 1342AH (3 March 1924CE). In addition, they presented the Islamic solution that lies in the resumption of the Islamic way of Life via the reestablishment of the Khilafah on the method of Prophethood.
