Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia Statement
Ahmadiyah Clashed in Cikeusik, Pandeglang

As it was reported Sunday morning 6th February, clashes between members of Jemaah Ahmadiyah and residents of " kampong Pendeuy, Umbulan district, Cikeusik village, Pandeglang, Banten Province. As a result, eight people injured, three of whom died. The clash between the members of " Jemaah Ahmadiyah and citizens which happens to be for the umpteenth time. Previously a similar clashes occurred in Bogor, Ciampea, and then in the village of Manis Lor, Kuningan, and last January 29th also in Makassar.

Clashes in Cikeusik and that happened before was triggered by the fact that the Jemaah Ahmadiyah did not heed their activities as stated in the Decree of the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Attorney General and Minister of Home Affairs No. 199 of 2008, where the decision basically gives warnings and instructions to followers, members, and / or members of the board JAI as long claims as Muslim to stop the spread of interpretations and activities which deviate from the principal teachings of Islam, namely the spread of understanding which recognizes the existence of the prophet with all his teachings after Prophet Muhammad SAW.

That each of these engagements also defines sense emotions or anger of the people around, maybe it's true. But the emotions or anger people was understandable considering this group Jemaah Ahmadiyah, which is very demeaning the Prophet Muhammad, and the sanctity of the Quran which compromised his book Tadzkirah.

And most of all, the clash was triggered by government indecision, in this case the President Susilo Bambang Yudoyono, who until now was not issue a prohibition or dissolution to the congregation of Ahmadiyah as a legal basis necessary for it is more than enough, both the fatwa of the council of Ulama, ‘Bakorpakem' study results, joint decree of 3 Ministers and the demands of Islamic organization. The ambiguity is what makes the congregation of Ahmadiyah feel got wind, which then led to friction with Muslims in various places.

With regard to the above, Hizb ut-Tahrir Indonesia express:

1. Deplored the clashes between members of Ahmidyah and the local community. This clash really will not happen if the government firmly on the existence of Ahmadiyah.

2. That the government in this case the President Susilo Bambang Yodoyono should immediately issue a decision to dissolve or otherwise the congregation Ahmadiyah to be decided as non-Muslim. Only with a decision like this the issue of Ahmadiyah can be resolved with due diligence and closed the door further clashes. The delay in the President in making a decision to be considered also allows for horizontal conflict because people will take their own path in solving the problem of the Ahmadiyah.

3. Encouraged followers of Ahmadiyah to immediately get back on track, leaving the Ahmadi teachings that have clearly been declared false and misleading. Only then the world to live with other Muslims can be obtained.
