News Right Now:

Red Lies

Turkey was the first Muslim-majority country to recognise the Zionist Entity in 1949.  Historically Turkey has been one of the closest strategic allies of the Zionist state.

The alliance between the two countries is in everything from tourism to weapons sales, from business ties to joint training exercises.

Bilateral ties between the two countries have been reportedly strained for over a decade, ever since the 2010 Mavi Marmara incident, where IDF soldiers shot and killed Turkish activists aboard a ship leading others towards Gaza to assist the besieged people with essential supplies.

Turkey’s President, Erdogan and the Zionist States Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu have often exchanged angry remarks related the policies towards the Palestinians, but both countries continue to trade with one another.

In 2019, The Zionist state exports to Turkey were led by chemical products with almost a 50% share, followed by plastics at 12% and fuel was 9%.

The Zionist State largest imports from Turkey by sector were vehicles, 18% and iron and steel, 16%, followed by plastics, 7%, machinery, 6% and cement, 5%.

Bilateral trade in 2018 reached $6.2 billion dropping to $5.5 billion in 2019, according to figures from the Geneva-based International Trade Centre, a joint United Nations and World Trade Organization agency.

This makes Turkey the sixth-largest trade partner for the Zionist State.

Erdogan made a statement to reporters, "The Palestinian policy is our red line," he said. "It is impossible for us to accept Israel's Palestine policies. Their merciless acts there are unacceptable."

Despite the words of support for the Palestinian people, we see the actions of Erdogan towards the Zionist State.

On Aug. 13, shortly after Trump announced the normalization of ties between the Zioinists and the Emirates, Erdogan warned he was considering suspending diplomatic ties with Abu Dhabi and withdrawing the Turkish ambassador. Although this threat did not materialise.

Four months later, when the United States announced the renewal of ties between the Zionist State and Morocco, Turkey reacted differently. Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that no relations should come at the expense of the Palestinians, but he also noted that each country has the right to maintain whatever relations it chooses with another.

Turkey’s shift towards the Zionist state is certainly not innocent and can be attributed to two main game-changers. First, there is the imminent new administration in Washington. Ankara would like to turn a new page with the Joe Biden administration and also with the European Union.

The second factor is the recent acceptance of the Zionist State within the Arab world. Turkey would not want to be isolated while everyone else is accepting the Zionist state and along with that the economic benefits.

In October 2020 it was reported that commercial ties and cultural exchanges between Turkey and the Zionist state were on the rise.

On Nov. 30, Al-Monitor reported that the chief of Turkey’s national intelligence service Hakan Fidan had been holding secret talks with Zionist officials in efforts to restore bilateral relations. Then On Dec. 7, the Tel Aviv Moshe Dayan Institute proposed that the two countries review maritime borders in the Mediterranean Sea.

On Friday 25th December after prayers, Erdoğan told reporters that Turkey maintains relations with Israel through intelligence channels and stressed: “We have some difficulties with the people at the top."

The Turkish president said his country can’t accept the Zionist states policy towards the Palestinians, but added: “Our heart desires that we can move our relations with them to a better point.”

In December 2020, a report by Al-Monitor said the move to appoint Ufuk Ulutas, as the new Turkish ambassador is part of an attempt to improve ties with incoming President-elect Joe Biden’s administration in the US.

The Turkish presidential adviser on foreign affairs, Mesut Casin explained that if ‘Israel’ takes one step in the right direction, Turkey is ready to take two steps.

The actions of Erdogan, leading to better ties with the Zionist Entity show that the ‘red lines’ he claims are lies to divert from his real intentions. As one by one each Muslim country normalises with the Zionist Entity they strengthen its position allowing more land grabbing, more forcible evictions and and open hand at the desecration of the places of worship central to the history and heritage of the Muslims.

Turkey is clearly assisting the Kuffar in their plans against the Ummah and forwarding their vision of ‘peace’ and ‘normalisation’. As if a cancer in the body should be accepted and the illness is called good health!

As long as the agent rulers, who draw red lines and keep crossing them, are in their positions of power, Palestine will never be liberated. With all the rhetoric and for so many years, we see more and more loss and no gains in this occupation of Muslim land.

The liberation of Palestine is only for the honourable and sincere in the Ummah. The likes of Umar bin al Khattab and Salahuddin Al Ayubi, may Allah be pleased with them. Today, we must work with complete conviction and strive hard for the re-establishment of the Caliphate on the Method of the Prophet hood as this is the only entity that will liberate Palestine, seeking no material, strategic advantage but only as this is Islamic land and it is occupied and its people remain under oppression with no protection.

إنما الإمام جنة يقاتل من ورائه ويتقى به

“Indeed, the Imam (Khalifah) is a shield, from behind whom you fight and by whom you are protected.” [Muslim]
