Muslims for the past century have suffered numerous catastrophes, humiliation, and oppressions... We will show how the destruction of the Khilafah has destroyed Muslims in ways that are unimaginable. “Why are you being so gloomy?” “It’s overwhelming, I don’t want to talk about this right now!” “Can we talk about something else? I just want the mood to stay positive!”

These are comments we sometimes hear when talking about the affairs of the Muslims or after turning off the news after watching footage about what our brothers or sisters are going through. While other times we get a resisting reaction from friends or family after talking about what we have seen . It seems like no one wants to talk about it, feeling helpless. No one wanting to face the reality that our brothers and sisters are suffering. We just want to turn off the TV and consider nothing is happening. We sometimes don’t even watch the news, thinking... “It’s depressing! I have enough going on with my life! Besides, how can I fix their affairs when I can barely fix my own affairs?!” Suddenly, we reach a point where it's all about us. How we can find joy in our own lives, since we feel powerless to help. Astaghfirullah.

We have become so disconnected and lost. The bond and the closeness we have seems to be fading away. We may not be thinking about how Allah SWT wants us to be. It has gotten to the point where we feel disconnected from our own neighbors. Pure secularism at its core.

Since when have we become like this? Has secularism affected us this much?! Did we forget the saying of Prophet Muhammad (saw) said,

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ مثل المؤمنين في توادهم وتراحمهم وتعاطفهم، مثل الجسد إذا اشتكى منه عضو تداعى له سائر الجسد بالسهر والحمى”

"The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body. When one of the limbs suffers, the whole body responds to it with wakefulness and fever". [Bukhari and Muslim]

In this noble hadith, we see that Islam isn’t about, “its every man for himself!”. It’s about unity! It’s about caring for each other’s affairs as we are care for our own! Our blessed prophet Muhammad (saw) said,

"‏ لاَ يُؤْمِنُ أَحَدُكُمْ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ “‏

"None of you believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself." [Tirmidhi]

Therefore, if UNITY is a main factor in our deen and we ignore each other’s affairs, out of helplessness- this means we are only adding fuel to the flames. We are only then becoming weaker and weaker! Leading us into bigger problems than the ones we face today. Like the example of our Uyghur brothers and sisters, being put into concentration camps to rid us of our glorious Islamic ideology! They want us to fear being a Muslim by torturing, abusing, and committing darker atrocities in order to drive us into fear and away from Islam. Then there are mass rapes in Myanmar, or the slaughtering and deserting of our brothers and sisters in Yemen! It’s only getting worse! These days, it seems impossible to find a place to call home or to feel safe! Whether it is physically or mentally! We watch our backs wherever we are! All for what? For being Muslim! Because we bare witness that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. This is a war on Islam. They know that if they break us down and separate us, we won’t be as strong as we truly are, as we once were!

“But why should we hear about the affairs while we can’t do anything about them?!” we may ask. The answer is actually right in front of us. I’ve been saying it and it is what Islam is about- Unity! We must unite to bring change! Put our hands together and work for it! One can’t do it on his own... Because you see, the

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ المؤمن للمؤمن كالبنيان يشد بعضه بعضًا‏"‏ وشبك بين أصابعه ‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

Messenger of Allah (saw) said, "The relationship of the believer with another believer is like (the bricks of) a building, each strengthens the other." He (saw) illustrated this by interlacing the fingers of both his hands. [Bukhari and Muslim]

It’s time to UNITE! To work together to fix the affairs of the Muslims! They would not dare to do what they do to us today if we were united! That’s why we must work to bring back the Khilafah, Caliphate, on the method of the prophethood! Work with us, Hizb ut Tahrir, to fix the affairs of Muslims by bringing a system that will protect the Muslims and the rest of Humanity. A system that was not created by man, rather the system from The Lord of the Worlds, Allah SWT. A system that unites the world equally- with one noble leader who will bring justice for those who have lost it. The Khilafah is what will restore our dignity and allow our enemies to fear us where they dare not to humiliate us and dishonor us. We say one hundred years without a state, without the Khilafah, is enough. We say to the Muslims; establish it! Be with those who work for its return. To work with Hizb ut Tahrir in order for us to shine again and lead the world out of oppression and into dignity.

( وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءًۭ فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًۭا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَـٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ )

And hold firmly to the rope of Allah and do not be divided. Remember Allah’s favour upon you when you were enemies, then He united your hearts, so you—by His grace—became brothers. And you were at the brink of a fiery pit and He saved you from it. This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you, so that you may be ˹rightly˺ guided. [ 3:103 ]
