THE BITTER FRUITS OF THE CAPITALIST SYSTEM!

News:

One student was killed and seven students were injured in a knife attack at a middle school in Istanbul.

Comment:

In a statement concerning the attack, Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin drew attention to the security measures taken against incidents occurring in schools. He said that nearly 25,000 schoolyard attendants would be employed in schools by next February and that schools should be categorized according to their security needs. He listed the measures to be taken in schools as follows:

The employment of approximately 25,000 schoolyard attendants, the use of security cameras in schools, the installation of electronic security systems, the assessment of schoolyard walls as part of security arrangements, and the implementation of a parent appointment system.

Minister Tekin had previously made similar assessments and stated that security measures in schools would be increased. However, despite all the security precautions taken, unfortunately such attacks cannot be prevented and will not be prevented by these means. Similar attacks have occurred in schools before. In order to put an end to such attacks, government officials seek to solve the problem through superficial assessments, offering stopgap remedies or palliative solutions that address the consequences rather than the causes. So far, the only solutions offered by the government have been either to increase security measures or to shift responsibility for its own failures and incompetence onto parents, telling them to look after their children. An impression has been created as though parents were responsible for these incidents.

Accordingly, the problem is not merely one of security or inadequate security measures. Rather, the fundamental factor underlying the problem is the damage inflicted on younger generations by the existing educational curriculum of the secular capitalist system—which separates religion from the state and matter from spirit—by the secular way of life, and by corrupt Western culture. Such attacks are a reflection of the education provided in schools or of Western-style popular culture. Moreover, an educational approach that imparts knowledge without also instilling sound belief, solid morals, and strong character is inadequate to meet the needs of young people and, unfortunately, also gives rise to such negative outcomes.

Therefore, the truth is that a lasting solution to the problems facing young people today is possible only through an educational model based on the creed and values of Islam. There is no other truth besides this.

Meanwhile, Türkiye is shaken by a new scandal almost every day. From multimillion-dollar fund frauds involving the names of government officials and businesspeople to corruption in municipalities, and from sports and the judiciary to education and the economy, the country faces moral degeneration and social collapse encompassing every sphere of life: a situation in which personal benefit, rather than merit, is taken as the criterion, and interests, rather than justice and the rule of law, prevail. This picture is also a consequence of the bankruptcy of the secular capitalist system, which is incompatible with human nature, does not bring contentment to the heart, prioritizes pleasure and gratification, makes people rebellious against their Lord through the idea of freedoms, strips them of their identity, and uproots them. This picture is among the bitter fruits of this false man-made system.

This corrupt system has now become incapable of resolving crises and has corrupted both crops and generations. On the contrary, it produces new crises with each passing day. These crises have also exposed the failure of government officials to manage and resolve them. By prioritizing only its own interests, the government has corrupted society and trampled upon its spiritual and moral values. Indeed, in this regard, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed to rulers as one of two groups that contribute to social degeneration and collapse.

«صِنفان من أمَّتي إذا صلحوا صلح النَّاسُ وإذا فسَدوا فسَد النَّاسُ: الأمراءُ والفقهاءُ»

“There are two groups of people: if they are upright, the people will be upright; and if they are corrupt, the people will be corrupt. They are the scholars and the rulers.”

Therefore, nothing in the way of justice or goodness can be expected from this man-made system, founded upon un-Islamic and false principles, or from the guardians and rulers who implement it. Goodness, justice, merit, happiness, well-being, and peace are possible only through the implementation of the Islamic system in every sphere of life.

Everything else is empty talk.
