The recent spectacle in Delhi, where the fallen Sheikh Hasina was given a platform, is a stark reminder to every conscious Muslim in Bangladesh. This signals the hostility surrounding us.
India's ‘Akhand Bharat’ ideology drives its persecution of Muslims and its claim over Bangladesh. From Kashmir to Assam, our brothers cry out under oppression. This same state strengthens ties with forces committing genocide in Gaza. Their vision leaves no room for an independent Muslim Bangladesh. But our rulers repeat past mistakes, chasing temporary comfort over long-term survival. Alliances with those who harbor hostility toward Islam weaken the Ummah.
The Prophet (saw) gave us a clear framework: either they accept Islam to be part of Muslim Ummah, or face war to liberate Muslim lands. Those who cite the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, should know that it was merely a temporary truce. Sultan Aurangzeb understood this well. When Buddhist rulers terrorized Muslims, he liberated Chittagong, dismantling a five-hundred-year-old Buddhist empire in Arakan. He knew temporary pauses were permitted, but never permanent submission. Today's leaders offer concessions where Aurangzeb showed courage, and accommodation where he upheld Islamic law.
We, Hizb ut Tahrir, have never been silent. From the first conspiracy at Pilkhana in 2009, we stood firmly against the tyrant Hasina and her foreign backers. Through fifteen years of struggle, our activists endured forced disappearance, torture and imprisonment, and many saw their educational and professional careers destroyed. Our un-sung heroes worked tirelessly in the shadows, while our members maintained active across public and private university campuses, awakening the youth. When the July Mass Uprising erupted in 2024, we were right there, offering critical guidance to the nation and the armed forces. We do not claim to be the sole mastermind; the people are the true heroes. But we played a vital role in shaking the tyrant's throne, causing her to fly to India. Yet the revolution has been hijacked. Local and international conspiracies have robbed the people of their true aspirations. The dream of Islamic governance and true independence remains unfulfilled. The imperialist forces are tightening their grip once more.
But there is still hope - and it lies in unity. We call upon the sincere officers of the armed forces, the youth, and all sincere Muslims to stand with us. Together, we can complete this revolution. We believe that within our armed forces, the spirit of Aurangzeb still lives - waiting to be awakened. These are men of faith and honor who understand their duty to Allah (swt) before any earthly master.
The time has come to abandon failed strategies. No more clinging to treaties that disrespect Muslim dignity. No more silence in the face of oppression. The Muslims of Bangladesh must rise to reclaim their destiny, spreading the light of Islam across the Subcontinent. This is not a dream - it is the promise of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw) that the Khilafah (Caliphate) shall return upon the method of Prophethood. Allah (swt) says:
[وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَيَسْتَخْلِفَنَّهُم فِي الأَرْضِ...]
"And Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession upon the earth…" [An-Nur:55]. The enemies may hate it, but Allah's word shall prevail. The hour to act is now.
