The Promises and Hopes of the Iraqi Government Are Like a Mirage That the Thirsty Person Thinks Is Water!
(Translated)

After America insisted on imposing Ali Al-Zaidi as Prime Minister of Iraq and supported him, and rejected the Coordination Framework’s candidate, Nouri al-Maliki, and threatened it with economic sanctions, and the matter was accomplished as it wanted, it carried out several actions to polish his image and convince the Iraqi public that he is the man of the stage, and capable of saving Iraq and taking it across to safety. So it invited him to Washington to announce the beginning of a new phase concerning Iraq’s economy, which he began with a campaign to hold the corrupt accountable. His media office mentioned in a statement reported by Al Jazeera that: “A total of 48 agreements, memoranda of understanding, cooperation agreements, and partnership declarations were signed between public and private sector entities in Iraq and the United States.” The statement added that these agreements include “cooperation and partnerships involving the ministries of oil and electricity ... with ExxonMobil, KBR, GE Vernova, Shell and Halliburton”, as well as several deals related to the construction of a major crude oil pipeline between Iraq and Syria.

These matters were made conditional upon disarming the Iraqi factions affiliated with Iran, no later than 30/9/2026, so that it would coincide with the announcement of the withdrawal of the American forces from Iraq.

But the reality witnessed shows that the promises of building Iraq and restoring it as a stable, sovereign state are nothing but lies and deception. America knows nothing except its own interests, and it does not care about other countries, in whatever valley they perish. These Gulf States are paying the price of their dependency in America’s war against Iran, while America does nothing to protect them or defend them, even though everything they are suffering is only because of its policies and actions!

O Muslims: After all this noise and these false promises, we see that Iraq’s condition has become worse than before. Need, poverty, unemployment, and high prices have become something unbearable, and every month the state enters into a crisis concerning employees’ salaries and how to secure them; at one time a crisis in cooking gas, and at another a crisis in motor fuel... So, what rosy life are they promising you?!

Is it not enough to keep you drugged and running after illusions and mirages?! Is it not enough that you have been bitten time and time again from the same hole, while you remember the warning of the Messenger of Allah (saw): «لا يُلدَغُ المُؤمِنُ مِن جُحرٍ واحِدٍ مَرَّتَينِ» “A believer is not stung from the same hole twice.”

Have you not yet realized that your salvation and the rectification of your condition can only be through your own hands and not through the hands of your enemies?! For you are an Ummah that possesses the greatest way of life, which the Lord of mankind has prescribed and commanded you to implement in the reality of life. It is the honor and remembrance. Allah (swt) said: [لَقَدْ أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكُمْ كِتَاباً فِيهِ ذِكْرُكُمْ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ] “We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Then will you not reason?” [Surah Al-Anbiya: 10]. And He warned you against turning away from it with a life of hardship. Allah (swt) said:

[وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكاً وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَى] “And whoever turns away from My remembrance will have a depressed [i.e., difficult] life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind.” [Surah Ta-Ha: 124]. Proceed towards the serious and sincere work to establish the Khilafah (Caliphate) and apply the Shariah of Allah, the matter to which Hizb ut Tahrir has continued to call you to. Is there anyone who will respond?!

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا للهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ] “O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.” [Surah Al-Anfal: 24]
