Press Release
"The Issue of Extremism in Central Asia" was also Discussed in Bishkek
(Translated)

On 3-4 July, Bishkek hosted a seminar on "Issues of Extremism in Central Asia". In February of this year, “the role of the press in promoting public policy in the religious sphere” was discussed in Bishkek. In March, a meeting was held in Bishkek at the initiative of the Religious Committee of Kyrgyzstan with the aim of "bringing religious trends closer together". In April, a meeting was organized on the "Leaders' Discussion in the Fight Against Terrorism in Central Asia" project. On June 14, the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Bishkek. At the summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping said, "We must fight together against three evil forces (separatism, terrorism and extremism)", and Jeenbekov, President of Kyrgyzstan, supported the initiative of Jinping and said, "Kyrgyzstan stands with China in one position in the fight against separatism, terrorism and extremism".

These days, a meeting on "Issues of Extremism in Central Asia" is also being held in Bishkek. The seminar coincided in the same day with Atambayev’s demonstration chanting "Let Jeenbekov leave power".

"Extremism" is, in their words, an attempt by a person or group to take power by force.

On 3 July, a demonstration was held entitled "Let the President leave “power”." The demonstration was funded by former President Atambayev, who announced the non-recognition of the Kyrgyz state and refused to investigate despite the opening of criminal proceedings against him. Atambayev stressed in his speech at the demonstration that the existing political elite must leave power and others from his surroundings to come to power instead of them.

‘Extremism’ is a term used only against Islam and Muslims. Amorbik Tekka Bayev, who ousted Askar Akayev from power and took office while in Russia said, "We have taken power in the wrong way ‘by extremism’". Yet international politics recognized them as a state. They were also expelled as their predecessors by those who came to power after them in the same way.

The term "extremism" is only described to Muslims, and because of the large number of seminars and conferences on ‘extremism’ the Kyrgyz state appears as if it is being occupied by Islamic groups. International politics or the Kyrgyz authority may wish to create this perception in the minds of the world community. In any case, the term "extremism" is used only for Islam and representatives of Islam. Those who have nothing to do with Islam if they do something that is consistent with this term it is not used on them, and perhaps this necessitates protection of their democratic rights by pressure.

It is therefore possible to conclude that any global system of governance has a structure that struggles with other systems. The terms "extremism and terrorism" are the mechanisms of democracy-based capitalism to fight against the system of Islam. The allegations that these terms are aimed at protecting humanitarian interests and against certain crimes are a big lie. Instead these terms are used only for the purpose of material benefits or to prevent the return of Islam as a system of global governance.

Thus, it is forbidden for Muslims to use these terms and to stigmatize each other. We must prevent these terms from being introduced into our societies and not to use these terms in our daily lives. The Muslims’ position is an advocacy (Dawah) for Islam and Muslims! Dear brothers and sisters! Let us work for Islam and Muslims in every political situation that arises in reality.
