On Sunday, 26 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to 9 August 2026 CE, a delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, led by Ustadth Nasser Reda, Head of the Central Communications Committee of Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Sudan, accompanied by Ustadth Muhammad Mukhtar, member of the Hizb ut Tahrir Council in Wilayah Sudan, and Ust. Muntaser Karar and Abdul Samad Al-Tayeb, members of Hizb ut Tahrir, met with the Nazir (chief) of the Habab Tribe, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Muhammad Saeed, at his residence in the city of Al-Qadarif.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ustadth Nasser spoke about the plan to divide Sudan, describing it as an old scheme still being implemented by America and its agents among Sudan’s rulers. He added that the worst aspect of this plan is that they have exploited certain tribes and are working to arm them, intending to use them as a Trojan horse to tear Sudan apart. He emphasized that the tribes' original purpose is to support Islam and establish its state, just as they did in the early days of Islam when they supported the Prophet Muhammad (saw) and established the first Muslim state in Medina. He concluded by saying that it is now your duty to support Islam and work towards establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) based on the methodology of the Prophethood.

Then Nazir spoke, praising the Hizb's role and thanking the delegation for their visit. He said, "As long as this is your approach, we are with you wholeheartedly," and concluded by saying, "Consider me an honorary member."
