When the US announced the move of its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem two years ago, President Trump dubbed his plan to resolve the Palestinian issue “the deal of the century”. Earlier this year Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and White House senior adviser met with the leaders of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, and Bahrain.

Recently he met with the leaders of Morocco, Jordan, and the Zionist state before revealing the latest iteration of the Middle-East peace plan. These visits were focused on gaining support from the regional Muslim nations and getting them to contribute economically to Gaza and for the PLO to accept the deal in return for this money.

The Trump administration had promised that the plan would be delivered during the UN General Assembly in New York in September 2018, it was then delayed to early 2019 and has continued to be delayed.

While the plan is yet to be released, bits and pieces have leaked painting a picture of what the full plan will entail:

– New Palestine would only include the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, excluding all Zionist settlements.

– The Muslims of Palestine will have to abandon Jerusalem as their capital.

– The Palestinian state will be demilitarised, with only light arms kept by the police.

– A road would be paved between Gaza and the West Bank and it would be possible to transfer desalinated water via an underground conductor between the two places.

– The US, EU and Gulf States would finance the deal at a cost of $30 billion during the first five years to build a viable economy for the Palestinians.

– The Palestinians would have to abandon their right of return as enshrined under international law.

All in all, the Muslims of Palestine would give up over 80% of their land for very little in return. But the plan will be embraced by the puppet rulers in the Arab world in an attempt to legitimize it. Basking in the illusions of his own grandeur, Trump views himself as an exceptional businessman, and above all, a deal maker.

The American’s know that Palestine and al-Quds (Jerusalem) are an inseparable part of the Islamic aqeedah, which is why part of their plan is to reform and secularize Islam, along with dangling the false carrot of economic progress.

But even US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo called the US’ Palestine-Israel peace plan arguably “unexecutable” in a private meeting with Jewish leaders. Pompeo has also stated that it might not “gain traction” and could be seen as “not particularly original”.

For Muslims, any surrender of any Islamic land, especially the blessed land of Palestine is an outright sin and out of the realm of possibility. Anything short of the whole liberation of Palestine is a betrayal of the Ummah and outright disobedience to Allah.

As for deals, the best deal is the deal that Allah offers to the Muslims when they liberate all of Palestine and return it to Islamic rule:

(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰ تِجَارَةٍ تُنجِيكُم مِّنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ)

(تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ)

O you who have believed, shall I guide you to a transaction that will save you from a painful punishment? [It is that] you believe in Allah and His Messenger and strive in the cause of Allah with your wealth and your lives. That is best for you, if you should know. 61:10-11
