Since becoming independent in 1960, Nigeria’s political history has been marred by several intricacies – tribal clashes, religious wars, oil wars, military coups etc. About 75% of post-independent years were spent under military rule and dictatorship. However, Nigeria’s violence has never reached the level of its African counterparts like Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and the Central African Republic (CAR).

Khamenei's Speech and Artificial Verbal Antagonism against Washington

America needs Pakistan more than Pakistan needs America - even if we take Trump’s figure at face value that $33 billion pales in comparison to the amount Pakistan has lost from its economy due to taking part in American war. Estimates range to an annual loss of $7-9 billion per annum, which even if taking the lower figure across 15 years comes to $105 billion.
