Alwaie Magazine: Prominent Headlines for Issue 430
The word ‘Jihad’ in Islam has taken an important role in our present life. There have been many publications written on this subject every year. Perhaps this is due to humiliation and belittlement that surrounds our public life, which every Muslim feels every day and night as long as Israelites crouch over our lands, occupying the most precious sanctities of Muslims.
Muslims are living in desperate circumstances under rulers who went far beyond in their dealings with the Western disbelievers, who betrayed Allah (swt), His Messenger (saw) and His Deen to their core and bartered away the issues of the Ummah. We see that the idea of change has ripened amongst the Ummah, which has become its general demand and hope. The Ummah has tried various attempts to change these circumstances to transform the Ummah into a strong and noble state.

He is in need of imitation (Taqleed) to know the commands and prohibition of his Lord (swt), abiding by His Deen in deeds, words and in all of his life.
Hatib bin Abi Balt’a bin Amr bin Umair bin Salama Al-Lakhmi (ra) was a Badri Companion. He entered Islam and migrated to Yathrib along with Muslims, accompanied by Sa’ad bin Khawli, the ally (Mawla) of Hatib. He came to the house of Al-Mundhir bin Muhammed bin Uqbah.
