On Wednesday, the Sudanese government rejected America’s questioning of its legitimacy, following its linking the granting of an entry visa to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to participate in the proceedings of the United Nations General Assembly, with approval of a humanitarian truce.

In recent days, media outlets have revealed a secret, closed-door meeting between the military chiefs of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt, along with the commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), Admiral Brad Cooper, and the Chief of Staff of the Jewish entity, Eyal Zamir, according to the Axios news website.
