The attack on Jummah attending Muslims in Christchurch, New Zealand has led to much debate and discussion across the world. A gunman who had prepared a manifesto drove to the Al-Nour Mosque and fired upon all those attending the mosque. He fired on men, women and children inside for about five minutes and live-streamed the attack from a head-mounted camera.

On Friday March 15th, world media outlets reported on a mass shooting and murder of Muslim men praying in two mosques in New Zealand. 49 sincere Muslims attending the Friday prayer duties were shot and killed, with many more injured in the aftermath.

 The Punjab Assembly on Wednesday increased the salaries, benefits and privileges of its members two fold, after enacting the legislation within 24 hours of tabling the bill concerned. Powerless to stop them, Khan took to social media to criticize the assembly members.
