What a lengthy drama and spectacle, corruption in Pakistan is! We first watched  lengthy corruption proceedings against the family of Pakistan's Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, that began over a year ago. We then watched the submission of a lengthy corruption report by the Joint Investigation Team on 10 July 2017. We next watched as the Sharif family filed lengthy legal objections a week later, on 17 July 2017.

It is about two months before we go for the 2017 Kenya’s general elections. This will be the election to the twelfth parliament and as usual tribal coalitions under the umbrella of political parties have been formed where principals of these coalitions disperse money deceiving masses by urging them to participate in the elections. Before even the election is on, the dirt of democracy was seen in the parties’ primaries

A law was passed a few days ago approving an agreement between the government of Kuwait and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) on the transit of troops and NATO members, following the approval of the National Assembly. The 19 articles of the Convention and its explanatory memorandum were reported by the Kuwaiti Al-Anbaa Newspaper on 7/5/2017.
