On Wednesday, the Sudanese government rejected America’s questioning of its legitimacy, following its linking the granting of an entry visa to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, to participate in the proceedings of the United Nations General Assembly, with approval of a humanitarian truce.
Reuters reported that America refuses to grant the Sudanese army commander, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, an entry visa, before his speech scheduled before the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday. Meanwhile, two sources told the agency that its issuance appears to be linked to his approval of a 90-day truce.
