The Ministry of National Defense issued a statement regarding the Tunisian-American talks held on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, between the Minister of National Defense, Khaled Sehili, and the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for African Affairs, Brian J. Ellis, in the presence of the US Ambassador to Tunisia, Bill Bazzi, and several officials from both sides.

The War on Terror was launched twenty-five years ago for the express purpose of preventing the reemergence of the Khilafah (Caliphate). Its aim was to reassert direct control over the Middle East to preserve the U.S.’s post WWII colonial architecture given the increasing fragility of its servile rulers.
