The insurgency in Balochistan is almost as old as the country itself. It began in 1948 when the region was controversially – some say forcefully – annexed to become part of the newly formed Pakistan. Violent separatist uprisings, which were largely tribal-led, took place again in 1958, 1962 and 1973.

Hizb ut Tahrir / WilayahTurkiye organized the Qunut Supplication event following the criminal Jewish entity's violation of the fragile ceasefire agreement at dawn on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, and the resumption of the systematic killing of defenseless Muslims, most of whom are women, children, and the elderly. The event was titled: "For Gaza... Hands to Heaven!"

Amid the horrors of the massacres in Gaza and the suffering of its people under bombardment and siege, a new Egyptian proposal emerges calling for the release of five living prisoners, including an American citizen, in exchange for the entry of aid into Gaza and a ceasefire for several weeks.
