United States stated that it respects the right of “Israel” to enact its own laws, after the Knesset imposed the death penalty on Palestinian prisoners. A State Department spokesperson said, “The United States respects Israel’s sovereign right to determine its own laws and penalties for individuals convicted of terrorism. We trust that any such measures will be carried out with a fair trial and respect for all applicable guarantees and protections.”

On March 26, the platform, Qalampir.uz, published an interview with the ambassador of the Jewish entity in Uzbekistan, Gideon Lustig. The journalist directed questions to him about the disturbances in the Middle East, especially the war against Iran, and the massacres in Gaza, and the escalation of feelings of hatred towards his entity in the world.
