The work of Islamic revival is not the work of an individual, nor the mission of a single era. It is a trust — an amānah — carried in the hands of one generation and transferred with sincerity to the next, until the promise of Allah (swt) of nasr ( نصر victory), tamkeen ( تمكين empowerment), and istikhlaaf ( استخلاف succession in authority) are fulfilled.

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad (saw), the Seal of the Prophets (as) and Messengers (as), and upon his family (as) and Companions (ra) and all those who follow his path until the Day of Judgment.

This noble verse consists of two sentences. The first informs us of Allah’s (swt) sending down the Book with the truth and His sending down the Balance. The second sentence indicates the nearness of the Hour, that is, the Last Day.
