There remains not a single head of state or Western or Arab leader who has not denounced the Sydney incident, in which fifteen people were killed by gunfire in the wake of an attack targeting the Jewish Hanukkah festival in Sydney. Yet we have not seen comparable resolve in condemning the crimes of the Jewish entity in the Blessed Land of Palestine over the past two years.

One has to look far back to find a single day when there was not, either from the government or the opposition, a new hateful attack launched against Islam and Muslims. In the past ten days alone, we have seen the following displays of Islamophobia from the government:

The women and children of Gaza cry out for help... the women and children of Sudan complain... the women and children of the Uyghurs in East Turkestan suffer and scream... Muslim women and their children everywhere raise cry after cry, calling out: Is there anyone to help? Is there anyone to respond to the call? Is there anyone to answer?!

On Thursday 11th December, the organization, The Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa, reported it had documented almost 1300 incidents of sexual violence against women spanning 14 states in Sudan since the war started in the country in April 2023, with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) blamed for 87% of cases.
