The Heads of States of more than 40 African countries attended the first Africa –Russia Summit in Sochi. The two day summit held on 23 -24 October 2019 was co- hosted by the Russian President Vladimir Putin along with Egyptian Abdel Fattah el-Sisi focused mainly on business deals with Africa as well as security.
