Joint Military Exercises and Bases with the Enemies in Jordan are a Direct Threat and a Preparation to Execute Upcoming Colonial Projects

The Hashemite regime in Jordan was never ignorant of the political role assigned to it when Britain granted it rule over Jordan in anticipation of fulfilling the Balfour Declaration, not merely to establish a national homeland for the Jews, but to ensure that this entity would persist, be protected, and eventually stabilize with no geographic barrier in the form of Jordan, and no political buffer other than a ruling regime that understood the price of its existence and its political role. This regime's decision-making has been controlled by the colonial West, first represented by Britain and later extended to the United States, which granted it the status of "friend and strategic ally" to empower the Jewish entity and provide it with all means of strength and protection.

This, the realization of colonial projects, the ambitions of the Jewish entity, and the collusion of the Jordanian regime and surrounding Arab regimes to empower it, did not happen overnight. Rather, it required preparatory steps, misleading projects, colonial treaties, gradual treacherous agreements, and an intellectual invasion to strip the Ummah (Muslim nation) of its essential religious concepts. It also needed to entrench narrow nationalisms that fragmented the Ummah, increasing its humiliation and weakness, and to make acceptance of the enemy palatable under the guise of helplessness and his pretexts. Thus, the greedy colonial disbeliever sneaks in as a "friend and ally," establishing his military bases on Muslim lands, including Jordan, and imposes on us joint maneuvers, military exercises, and continuous meetings. Through these, he learns our strengths and weaknesses, becomes familiar with our terrain, and prepares for his inevitable last battles with us.

In this context, for example, and amid the savage crimes committed by the Jewish entity against the people of Gaza, continuous bombardment and starvation that wounds the heart, and under the watch and ears of the hypocritical international regime, several meetings and military maneuvers were held in Jordan within just one month (last month), involving colonial forces hostile to Jordan, Palestine, and Muslims, greedy for our land and resources, and supportive of the Jewish entity. These included American, British, and French forces. We mention among them:

- According to the U.S. Army website, General Michael Kurilla, Commander of U.S. Central Command, visited Jordan on 2/4/2025 and met with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Commander of the Royal Jordanian Air Force. They discussed expanding military relations with the Jordanian Armed Forces.

- The launch of the joint field exercise Jabal 6 on 14/4/2025, carried out by the Rapid Intervention Battalion (Maghawir), one of the Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan Rapid Intervention Brigades, with the participation of a French special forces team and in the presence of the brigade commander.

- The Jade Chameleon 25.2 joint military exercise with America, which concluded on 23/4/2025.

- The British Embassy in Amman held a reception on 29/4/2025 for several officers and non-commissioned officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces and security agencies. According to the embassy's website, Jordan is considered a strategic partner of the United Kingdom in the Middle East.

- The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff received the Commandant of the British Royal Military Academy Sandhurst on 28/4/2025 to discuss ways of enhancing military and training cooperation between the armed forces of the two "friendly" countries. Prior to that, on 24/4/2025, he met with British Ambassador Philip Hall to discuss strengthening the defense partnership between the two countries.

These hostile colonial countries do not stop at joint military exercises. Over the years, they have established military bases across Jordan, with broad powers and freedom in their security and military operations under the false pretext of "fighting terrorism", which they actually mean as political Islam and its components. The U.S., for instance, signed a defense cooperation agreement with Jordan in 2021, giving it over 11 bases and more than 3,000 American soldiers stationed permanently in Jordan. These soldiers enjoy immunity from local laws and regulations and train in military logistics, the art of supply and resupply. Additionally, there are bases for France, Germany, and the U.K., and some of these foreign forces share or directly control Jordanian army bases. Most of these bases are undisclosed, and some became known only by chance, such as the American Tower 22 base after the death of three soldiers, or the French base after a leaked video showed President Macron celebrating Christmas with soldiers there.

The stated reasons for these joint exercises, according to the armed forces spokesperson, are to continually develop combat doctrine and enhance international partnerships to confront emerging threats and achieve individual and collective security. He asserted that the security of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is part of regional and global security. However, this is a justification that defies reason, logic, Sharia, and even the principles of sovereign states with independent political will. The army’s doctrine does not need to be shaped by Western values; it is the Islamic creed, a political and militant doctrine for the sake of Allah.

Rather, this should be seen as serving absolute colonial interests and enabling political and economic domination. Regarding the joint Eager Lion exercises, Colonel Farrell Sullivan, commanding officer of the U.S. Marine Corps’ Rapid Response Force, told Business Insider, "It’s a very unique opportunity... You don’t get the opportunity every day to integrate with a partner force at this depth." The doctrine of the Ummah and Jordan’s interests are definitely not aligned with those of the West, which seeks dominance, control, and the empowerment of the Jewish entity. The military policies Jordan follows with these foreign colonial disbelieving forces on its soil are aimed at supporting and protecting the Jewish entity from even the slightest harm.

America wants to produce soldiers from the people of the region who are loyal to it, after embedding its utilitarian values into their psyche, so that it can use them in future battles and have them fight on its behalf in the region.

Rulers of the Muslims today are working to subject Muslims to their colonizers and prevent their liberation and the defense of their occupied lands and resources. America is an enemy state waging war against us, as it leads a campaign of genocide against our people in Gaza. It helps and arms the Jewish entity and ensures its survival. Therefore, treaties and joint military exercises with it and with Europe are forbidden in Islam. They are a humiliation and a shackle for the Ummah, meant to subjugate it to the agendas of the colonialist West and the monstrous Jewish entity, to plunder its resources and block it from its promising project of establishing the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the method of the Prophethood. Allah Almighty said:

[وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلاً]

“and never will Allah give the disbelievers over the believers a way [to overcome them]” [Surat An-Nisa: 141].

O People of Jordan:

We know you are highly aware of the colonial disbeliever’s ambitions and of America, Europe, and the Jewish entity's exploitation of Jordan's resources and the regime’s cooperation with them. Jordan is part of the Muslim lands, not geography for looting and domination, nor a political ally of the colonial kuffar (disbelievers). Therefore, it is your duty to stand against those preventing you from protecting Jordan and from supporting your brothers and sisters in the West Bank and Gaza. Stand with those working to free you from the grip of the colonial enemies and to establish the Islamic State, fulfilling Allah's promise and the glad tidings of His Messenger (swt), thereby saving the land and the people from their domination and from the betrayal of those rulers who ally with them.

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَوَلَّوْا قَوْماً غَضِبَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِمْ قَدْ يَئِسُوا مِنَ الْآخِرَةِ كَمَا يَئِسَ الْكُفَّارُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الْقُبُور]

“O you who have believed, do not make allies of a people with whom Allah has become angry. They have despaired of [reward in] the Hereafter just as the disbelievers have despaired of [meeting] the inhabitants of the graves” [Surat Al-Mumtahanah: 13]
