Mourning of Dawah Carrier
Dr. Muhammad Al-Umda Hammad
[مِّنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رِجَالٌ صَدَقُوا مَا عَاهَدُوا اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ فَمِنْهُم مَّن قَضَىٰ نَحْبَهُ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَنتَظِرُ وَمَا بَدَّلُوا تَبْدِيلاً]
“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah. Some of them have fulfilled their pledge ˹with their lives˺, others are waiting ˹their turn˺. They have never changed ˹their commitment˺ in the least.” [Al-Ahzab 33:23]

Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan, with hearts content with Allah's decree, tearful eyes, and deep sorrow, mourns one of its Shabab who carried the call to resume the Islamic way of life; by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) on the methodology of the Prophethood, may Allah forgive him:

Dr. Muhammad Al-Umda Hammad

We received news of his death yesterday, Thursday, the 13th of Jumada al-Akhar 1447 AH corresponding to 4 December 2025, in Khartoum. We ask Allah Almighty to have mercy on him, forgive him, and grant him the highest Paradise.

We mourn his loss and offer our sincere condolences to his family, children, brothers, and the dawah members.

The eye sheds tears, and the heart grieves, and we are truly saddened by your departure, Muhammad Al-Umda, but we say only what pleases our Lord.

[إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]

“Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.” [Al-Baqarah 2:156]
