On Wednesday, November 23rd, the Tunisian government announced, in a joint statement to the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines, and the Ministry of Trade and Export Development, the increase in the prices of some fuels, starting Thursday, 24/11/2022 at zero hour, as follows:

November 11, 2022, a number of security forces arrested ten members of Hizb ut Tahrir, in the capital, in a brutal and violent manner, while they were delivering a speech in front of the Al-Fath Mosque in order to express the Hizb’s rejection to the policy of selling Tunisia to the International Monetary Fund pursued by the president’s government.

The president’s government was not satisfied with signing a transit deed to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to tighten its grip on the country and the people, nor was it satisfied with bribing the Tunisian General Labour Union for its participation in the crime of submitting to the conditions of the IMF and its lethal doses, nor was it satisfied with fabricating charges against the members of Hizb ut Tahrir…
