Al-Muntasaf News website mentioned on its website on Wednesday, 22/02/2023, that Hizb ut Tahrir in Wilayah Yemen is the first terrorist component secreted by the Houthi militia, and that it raises the flag of Al-Qaeda as its slogan in the areas controlled by the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia, by holding a meeting with the economic advisor of the Houthi Supreme Political Council, Abdul Aziz al-Tarab, in his office in Sana'a.

A delegation from Hizb ut Tahrir in the Wilayah of Yemen, headed by Brother Abdullah Al-Qadi and with the membership of both Eng. Shafiq Khamis and Brother Muhsin Al-Ja’dabi, visited the Economic Adviser of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Tarab, in his office at his workplace.

The people of Yemen have suffered from the phenomenon of planting of landmines since the outbreak of the political and military conflicts in the 1960’s and including the wars of the central regions and the events of 1994 and beyond.

November 27, 2022, the government of Maeen Abdul Malik signed an agreement with the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) to support a comprehensive economic, financial and monetary reform program at an amount of one billion dollars, according to the Yemeni News Agency. The program, supported by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, covers the period from 2022 to 2025.
