In the book The Islamic State, on the subject of the second pledge of Aqaba and what follows; (the Prophet (saw) "thought") is mentioned in more than one occasion, while the subject is revelation (Wahi) from Allah and not the thinking of the Prophet (saw). For instance: He thought of migration, but migration is a revelation (Wahi) from Allah, I hope that you can explain what is meant by "thinking"…

"...Abdul Rahman discussed with the remaining five, limiting the number of candidates to two; Ali and ‘Uthman...After investigating the opinions of the people, the opinion settled on ‘Uthman as a Khalifah." And on page 33: "...Go and call Ali and ‘Uthman for me...then he held the hand of Ali (ra)." Why did he hold Ali's hand when the choice was settled on Uthman to become the Khaleefah?

"Al-Wujood" and "Al-Abyadh" have been mentioned, but the term "Al-Wujood" was explained by an example and it was repeated afterwards. But no example of "Al-Abyadh" was given. "Istighna" and "Iftiqar" were mentioned in a way that confused me. How can we understand the phrase above in a clearer way?
