With or without the Covid virus the Capitalist machine rolls on causing poverty and destruction of lives. But this past year has also exposed the hypocrisy and the lying.

Responsibility and guardianship are the key Islamic aspects upon which the prosperity of the Ummah is basically dependent on executing these two duties. The duties of a guardian are to oversee the welfare and the interests of people under guardianship.

The last year has made one thing very clear- Capitalism and Democracy are delusions, which have failed the world. The Capitalist system, which values profit over its citizens’ wellbeing has created a situation where the healthcare systems, among other things, were unable to care for the population.
