This week the Danish Social Democrats proposed to stop the public financial support for Muslim private schools. Other parties from both left and right are supportive even though the proposal might be in conflict with both the Danish constitution and the European human rights convention.

On June 25th, Air Asia X flight D7237 from Perth to Kuala Lumpur was diverted back to Perth after damage to the engine which had caused severe vibrations in the flight. One of the blades of the aircraft’s Rolls Royce Trent 772 engine had broken off causing severe imbalance to the engine of the airplane.

Uzbekistan: A Tashkent court jailed eleven Muslims who met to pray and discuss their faith for up to six years. Several testified about torture (including officers' threat to rape the wife of one in front of him). The court ignored the testimony. Three Protestants were given 15-day terms.
