Alliance with America Brings Huge Harms to Pakistan and Is Prohibited in the Shariah Law of Allah (swt)

News:

On 29 May 2026, the US State Department stated, “Secretary of State Marco Rubio met today with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in Washington, DC. Secretary Rubio expressed his condolences for the victims of the recent Balochistan Liberation Army terrorist attack in Quetta. The Secretary thanked the Minister for the constructive role Pakistan continues to play in realizing President Trump’s vision for peace in the Middle East and its mediation efforts with Iran. The Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister agreed upon the importance of working together to further strengthen a meaningful partnership that fosters security and prosperity for both Americans and Pakistanis.” (State.gov)

Comment:

As for “the importance of working together to further strengthen a meaningful partnership that fosters security and prosperity,” the US alliance with Pakistan is the source of huge and widespread harm in Pakistan. Far from security and prosperity, alliance with America opens the door for US colonialism, in all its destructive forms, economic, military and political.

American economic colonialism includes national debt that can never be repaid because of the evil of riba (interest). Interest payments increased from $1.99 billion in FY2022 to $3.59 billion in FY2025, representing an increase of 80.4 percent, whilst the foreign debt of Pakistan continuously increases, year after year, decade after decade. It also includes dollar hegemony, which has unleashed a flood of inflation because the rupee has weakened. On 29 May 2026, the exchange rate of the Pakistan rupee to the US dollar was 278.50, whilst in the 2000s, the rupee was around Rs60 to the dollar. Through America’s tool, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), it includes the continual raising of taxation targets to secure ensure interest payments. In its Country Report No. 26/101, released on 14 May 2026, the IMF targeted Pakistan’s federal revenues at Rs17,145 billion for 2026-27, whereas the revenues were Rs 619 billion for 2001-2002. Thus, the bitter fruit of American economic colonialism is more debt, more interest payments, more inflation and more taxation. So where is the “prosperity” that the US State Department speaks of?

American military colonialism is the cause of the armed forces fighting Muslims but not fighting the enemies of the Islamic Ummah. It includes the American concept of counter-terrorism, which declares Jihad against the Jewish entity and the Hindu State as terrorism, whilst opens the door to continuous war between Muslims in Afghanistan and Baluchistan. This is why the rulers of Pakistan described Jihad in Kashmir as a betrayal of Kashmir and prevented the mobilization of the armed forces in support of Gaza and Iran. This is also why the rulers of Pakistan joined Trumps “Board of Peace,” even though one of its military directives is to disarm the Muslim resistance in Palestine. It includes the concept of infrastructure development which focuses the state on building roads and utilities alone, whilst neglecting the essential machine industry, the building of engines and heavy machinery, to prevent the armed forces becoming completely independent in all aspects of weapons manufacture. Thus, the bitter fruit of American military colonialism is the exploitation of the armed forces of Pakistan for American foreign policy objectives, whilst leaving the causes of the Islamic Ummah without support. So where is the “security” that the US State Department speaks of?

American political colonialism includes what the US State Department calls, “President Trump’s vision for peace in the Middle East and its mediation efforts with Iran.” It is the plan for what the Americans call the Broader Middle East, that includes Pakistan and Afghanistan. It is a plan where the Muslim states are to be weakened by attacks, internal conflicts, treaties and accords, to secure the rise of the Jewish entity in the West, and the Hindu State in the East. It also includes trapping Iran within a deal which prevents it from being an independent state, both free from the orbit of American policy and free from being a subordinate state, like Pakistan. Thus, the bitter fruit of American political colonialism is the subjugation of the entire Muslim World to the Jews, Hindus and Western crusaders. Certainly, there is neither security nor prosperity under the dominance of the disbelievers, regardless of the claims of the Americans and their agents, the rulers of Pakistan!

O Muslims of Pakistan!

American colonialism is a source of great harm in Dunya. More importantly, it is not only a great sin in itself in the Deen, it also forbids what Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw) commanded, and commands what they forbid:
-Allah (swt) said, [وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا] “Allah does not grant the disbelievers a way for authority over the believers.” [TMQ Surah An-Nisaa 4:141]. This is a command in the form of news (طلب في صيغة الإخبار), and so Muslims are not allowed to grant the disbelievers a way for authority over them.

- The Messenger (saw) forbade Muslims from seeking assistance (استعانة isti’aanah) from kafir states, since he forbade seeking light from the fire of the mushrikeen, as he said, «لاَ تَسْـتَضِـيئُوا بـِنَارِ الْمُشْرِكِينَ» “Do not seek light from the fire of the mushrikeen.” [Narrated by Ahmad]. Fire is a kinayah (metonym) for war. The Messenger (saw) also said, «فَإِنَّا لاَ نَسْـتَعِينُ بـِمُـشْـرِكٍ» “We do not seek assistance from a mushrik.” [Sahih Ibn Hibban].

- Allah (swt) said, [وَأَخْرِجُوهُم مِّنْ حَيْثُ أَخْرَجُوكُمْ] “And expel them from wherever they expelled you.” [TMQ Surah Al-Baqarah 2:191]. This is a command to end the occupation until there is no sign of occupation, whether it is in Kashmir or Palestine or in any other place.

- Allah (swt) said,

[فَمَنِ اعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُوا عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ] “So, if anyone attacks you, attack in the same manner they attacked you.” [TMQ Surah al-Baqarah 2:194]. This is a command for all the Muslims, altogether, to fight the attacking enemies, whether they attack Iran, Gaza or Kashmir.

O Muslims of Pakistan!

Raise your voices against the obvious harm and flagrant sin of alliance with the US colonialism. Demand liberation (تحرير tahrir) from all forms of foreign colonialism and its agents in your land, the rulers of Pakistan. Demand that Pakistan becomes an independent state through implementation of the commands and prohibition of Allah (swt) and His Messenger (saw). Strive and sacrifice to enjoin all goodness (المعروف) and forbid all evil (المنكر) until it pleases Allah (swt) to grant the great Deen of Islam tamkeen (تمكين empowerment) on the earth as a Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly-Guided Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood. Hizb ut Tahrir (حزب التحرير Party of Liberation) is amongst you, between you and around you, so put your hands in the hands of its shebaab (members) and strive for goodness in the Dunya and Aakhira.
