Confrontation with the Jews is a Matter of Aqeedah. Preparing for It Is a Shariah Obligation, and Avoiding It Is Fatal

Some Syrian politicians have recently been promoting the idea that “we will not sell illusions to our people, and that we must act realistically to rebuild the state.” This is done on the pretext that “we are aware of our true capabilities, and the language of threats will be of no use in confronting the Zionist occupation,” and that “negotiations with it are ongoing to return to the 1974 agreement!”

In the face of these humiliating claims, we must remember some clear, glaring facts:

It is not an illusion to remind people of the doctrinal, political, and Iman-based truth that the Jewish entity is an occupying entity that must be confronted, defeated, and the Muslims’ sanctities cleansed of its filth. This is possible if we have the will, because all the capabilities are available to do so, especially after the mujahideen of Gaza exposed the illusion and falsehood of the myth of the “invincible army” and confirmed with their limited numbers and meager equipment, that the possessor of truth is sultan, that Iman works wonders, that truth is victorious, and that falsehood is defeated and will perish.

It is an illusion to use political realism as a pretext to spread cowardice, discouragement, weakness, and humiliation so that we remain subject to the rampage of the Jewish entity and the dictates of its primary supporter, the head of kufr, America. This is a failed policy that will only increase our loss and will only increase its rampage, arrogance, and haughtiness.

The illusion is to arm yourself with the pretext of realism under the pretext of building a state! What is the value of any political activity or economic prosperity — if it happens — if your land and skies are violated, your sovereignty is incomplete, and your enemy is rampant in your land and skies, invading your home morning and evening whenever he wants, kidnapping, interrogating, torturing, killing, and “teaching” you to impose his humiliating terms on you, with airdrops near your capital. This is all while you stand by and do not move a muscle, contenting yourself with condemnation, denunciation, and raising your humiliation to the United Nations and the international order, who are partners with the Jews in war against us and the theft of what remains of the dignity of a revolution that has produced nearly two million martyrs. This is all despite the fact that the Jews are the most cowardly creatures in fighting, and the people of ash-Sham have the will, decision, and determination to uproot mountains?!

The confrontation with the Jews is inevitable, and any delay has its costs. We have always said that this deformed Zionist entity is a malicious and treacherous entity, with which no treaties or agreements will work, nor will a policy of appeasement or conciliation work.

This is especially after we have seen their painful effects and results on the ground. Only a sincere mobilization that shakes its foundations and shakes the throne of its entity will work, breaking its protruding frail horn that speaks of the arrogance of a lion. This is all instead of groveling before the Jewish entity and opening channels of normalization with it under the pretext of seeking security, safety, peace, and building the country and its economy! It is well known that America supports, with unlimited support, the Jewish entity and its expansionist aspirations at the expense of the lands and the wealth of Muslims. It is also well known that America is pushing towards weakening and fragmenting the lands of Muslims so that they will not rise except in accordance with what serves the American vision and interests, foremost among which are the security of the Jewish entity and fighting the return of Islamic ruling through a state under the pretext of “fighting terrorism”!

Yes, if we had acquiesced to realism and the illusion and myth of the impossible, we would not have revolted against a tyrant in the first place who was supported by the kuffar and criminals of the earth. We would not have been patient, standing firm, and steadfast like the firm mountains, despite the great sacrifices made throughout the years of the revolution.

For 14 years, we did not have aircraft, but were bombed by them, and we were prevented from possessing a single anti-aircraft weapon, by a spiteful and malicious international agreement.

For 14 years, we have fought the most brutal regime, despite its criminality and the intensity of its air force, and the air force of Russia and the international coalition that is supporting it, and despite the influx of Iranian militias and its Hezb in Lebanon, and others. They all have truly come to know the true mettle of the people of ash-Sham and witnessed the strength of their Iman, the bravery of their courage, and the determination of their brave men.

For 14 years, the Ummah has been chanting, عالجنة رايحين شهداء بالملايين “We are going to heaven, as martyrs in their millions,” exposing the broken record of the betrayers that we have no power today against the regime, its soldiers, allies, and supporters.

Lions of war and soldiers of the battlefield who tasted the sweetness of Iman, armed themselves with it and made the impossible possible. They overcame difficulties, necks bowed before them, and they broke the chains and shackles of logic that bound the hands of the sincere, and delayed the advance of the revolutionaries for many years.

Men of truth who believed in the Word of Allah (swt), which those with trembling hands forgot or pretended to forget. Allah (swt) said,

[قَاتِلُوهُمْ يُعَذِّبْهُمُ اللَّهُ بِأَيْدِيكُمْ وَيُخْزِهِمْ وَيَنصُرْكُمْ عَلَيْهِمْ وَيَشْفِ صُدُورَ قَوْمٍ مُّؤْمِنِينَ]

“Fight them, Allah will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people” [TMQ Surah At-Tawbah: 14].

Yes, if we had acted realistically, we would not have overthrown the old regime. Instead, our movement became armed with Iman and the necessary material means. It was a purposeful movement guided by the Words of Allah (swt), Who said,

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِن تَنصُرُوا اللَّهَ يَنصُرْكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَكُمْ]“O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet” [TMQ Surah Muhammad: 47]. And He, the Most High, said,

[وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَمِنْ رِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ]

“And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war by which you may terrify the enemy of Allah and your enemy” [TMQ Surah Al-Anfaal: 60].

In conclusion, we remind and emphasize that we are not the weakest link in the equation as the disappointers and alarmists promote. We are the strong firmament, not the eye that fears it. We are the Ummah of Islam, the Ummah of awareness and steadfastness, the Ummah of giving and sacrifice, the Ummah of jihad and martyrdom, the best Ummah brought forth for mankind. All that is missing is a sincere Imam to lead it to glory and supremacy under the rule of Islam and its state, the Khilafah (Caliphate), the state of glory, strength and immunity. It is the promise of Allah (swt) and the glad tidings of His Messenger (saw). Establishing the Khilafah is a Shariah obligation; indeed, it is the crown of obligations. For the sake of such great good, let those who do good deeds, do good deeds.
