Beware Lest the West Reap the Fruits of Our Revolution

The Syrian revolution (Ash-Sham revolution) was launched to overthrow the criminal regime by the hands of its good sons. The revolution carried clear slogans that crystallized over time, expressing the identity of this blessed revolution. The revolution was neither nationalist nor patriotic, but rather purely Islamic. Confirming this does not require much explanation, as the evidences are too numerous to count, and it has been witnessed by those near and far. The Syrian revolution was purely Islamic, and Allah (swt) willed that it would expose those false and deceptive entities, from the treacherous rulers to the Arab League, to the United Nations and its Security Council, to human rights and other names that carry glittering, false, and deceptive slogans. The Syrian revolution overthrew and exposed them all. In fact, all those names appeared to be the exact opposite, as they were the biggest facilitators of the criminal regime in its relentless killing, displacement, and expulsion of the people of Syria, with all the might it possessed.

With the fall of those entities before the revolutionaries after their experience, their reliance (Tawwakul) on Allah (swt) and their Iman in His victory (nasr) and help increased. Thus, the foundations and principles of this revolution were refined, beginning with the overthrow of the criminal regime of Bashar al-Assad. After the regime’s crimes and tyranny, as the first principle, the people of Syria would no longer accept any of its icons and pillars remaining after the revolution’s victory, regardless of the reality America sought to impose on the current administration. The second principle was severing all ties with the kafir (disbelieving) West and its colonial institutions, which were in reality the greatest supporters and backers of the criminal regime against the revolutionaries. The third and final principle was establishing the ruling governance of Islam on the ruins of the criminal regime, for only through Islam can justice be achieved, dignity restored, and the criminals brought to justice. It is through these foundations and principles that all the sacrifices given, and all the blood that was shed, in our blessed revolution are preserved and honored.

Allah, by His grace and favor, willed to honor the people of Syria with a glorious victory, so they overthrew the Assad regime that had been oppressing them for decades. Today’s rulers should remember Allah’s words,

[عسَى رَبُّكُمْ أَنْ يُهْلِكَ عَدُوَّكُمْ وَيَسْتَخْلِفَكُمْ فِي الأرض فَيَنْظُرَ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ]

“Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land, so that He may see how you act.” [TMQ Surah Al-Araaf 129].

Today, our Lord, Allah (swt), has entrusted the people of Syria with a great responsibility and a new test, as they must be worthy of this victory (nasr) that He has granted them, and continue their journey towards implementing the great Islam before He (swt) deprives them of it. This can only be achieved by severing relations with the kafir West and its agent regimes, and implementing Islam directly without any delay.

The people of Syria, whom Allah (swt) has appointed as His successors after He defeated their enemy, are primarily responsible for this. This is manifested in the Shariah obligation of commanding all goodness (al-maroof) and forbidding all evil (al-munkar), and the Shariah obligation of the holding accountable (muhaasabah) of the new governing administration that has adopted a policy of submission to the countries that pressure it to exclude Islam, and maintain the secular system, and to limit itself only to changing faces.

America today is striving with all its might to preserve its secular system in Syria. We must never forget its crimes and conspiracies against the people of ash-Sham. All the killing and destruction perpetrated by the criminal regime, using every type of internationally prohibited weapon, was with the blessing of criminal America. Now, America will not forget the audacity of the people of ash-Sham in challenging its agent and regime in Damascus and overthrowing it. It is weaving a grand scheme against them, beginning with diverting them from their project — the great project of Islam — and then ensuring that its secular system remains untouched. In this way, America will reap the fruits of their victory and deprive them of it. As we all know, the secular system is the root of all calamity, and the foundation of misery for Muslims. It brought Hafez al-Assad and his criminal son, Bashar, to power, and it is capable, Allah (swt) forbid, of bringing forth their like again. Behind them stands the monster of capitalism, which will devour all the country's resources under the guise of investment projects, reconstruction, and building the Ummah, while imposing exorbitant taxes, not to mention the high costs of even the most basic services people need, such as water, electricity and communications. Thus, the country remains in the hands of this monstrous beast.

It is no wonder that our country should expect new misery and wretchedness if its people- Allah forbid - abandon the Deen of Allah (swt) and forget His victory (nasr) and support for them and deliverance from a filthy criminal regime that inflicted suffering upon them for many years. Turning away from the Deen of Allah (swt) is the cause of every calamity and behind every misery in this worldly life and a cause for entering Hell in the Hereafter. Allah (swt) has said, warning those who turn away from His command,

[وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكاً وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَى]

“And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a life of hardship, and We will raise him up on the Day of Resurrection blind.” [TMQ Surah Taha:124].

The trust is heavy and the responsibility is great for the people of Syria. Yes, we all rejoiced at the downfall of the rule of the al-Assad family, which had been oppressing us for decades, but the mission is not over yet. So, O our people, do not settle down and become complacent with this world, abandoning the building of the country and giving up on establishing the ruling governance according to all that Allah (swt) has revealed.

If you accept the new man-made constitution that is being drawn up, and imposed on you, by the conspiring nations that have been fighting and killing you, then that will be your death and the beginning of a new era of injustice, oppression, and tyranny. Moreover, you bear the full responsibility of holding the unjust ruler accountable, so that he may act according to the command of Allah (swt), severing all ties and relationships filled with treachery and betrayal from the enemies and the disbelievers, and holding fast to the Rope of Allah (swt), adhering to His obedience, and following the path of the Messenger of Allah (saw), may Allah (swt) bless him and grant him peace, with a project that pleases Allah (swt), establishes justice among the people, rules with truth, and takes revenge on all those whose hands are stained with the blood of the people of Syria, so that they may be held accountable and serve as a lesson to others. The country is our country, and we are responsible for it so that it may, by the permission of Allah (swt), move towards His Pleasure and the implementation of His Shariah Law. Allah (swt) hears and sees all, and He is with us if we turn to Him, and He (swt) is the Best Supporter and the Best Helper for us.
