The evil which is taking place in Yemen is clear for all to see. It has become a “living hell” for children, to put it in the words of Geert Cappelaere, the regional director for Unicef. A place where an estimated 130 children die every day from starvation and disease. The situation will most likely worsen, with intensifying fighting and a continuing blockade on the country’s ports of entry.

Afghanistan’s Parliamentary Election and the Role of Women!

On Saturday, the 20th October 2018, the parliamentary elections took place in Afghanistan. According to the report of the United Nation Assistant Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) 16 percent (417 persons) of the candidates were women and the current statistics from the Independent Election Commission (IEC) reported that women make up approximately 32 percent of total registered voters.
