The Spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir/ Indonesia (HTI) Muhammad Ismail Yusanto said the Perppu (The New Regulation in Lieu of Law on Mass Organizations) Number 2 Year 2017 not only attacks the Islamic organizations but also the teachings of Islam.

  In a press conference held on Monday, May 8, 2017, Coordinating Political, Legal and Security Affairs Minister (Menkopolhukam) Wiranto announced the process of disbandment of the organization of Hizb ut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI), on the grounds that HTI is considered not to carry positive roles to take part in the development process to achieve national goals;
