*A Prayer for Naveed Butt*

[وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هُوَ قُلْ عَسَىٰ أَن يَكُونَ قَرِيبًا]
"They ask you: "When will it be?" Say: "Perhaps it is near.""

May Allah accept your acts of obedience, O Naveed

May our Lord grant us reassurance regarding our brother and beloved, Naveed.

O Allah, guard him with Your Eye that never sleeps;

Protect him with Your Pillar of Strength, the ultimate refuge;

And shield him with Your Veil of Protection, which is never lifted.

O Allah, grant him health in his body, his hearing, and his sight.

O Allah, protect him from before him and from behind him, from his right and from his left;

And I seek refuge for him in You, O Lord, from being struck down from beneath him.

O Allah, preserve for him his intellect and his well-being;

Suffice him against the evil of his abductors and oppressors,

And against the evil of all Your creation.

O Allah, return him—and all Muslim captives, both men and women—from the prisons of the oppressors:

Return him to his family and to us, safe, triumphant, healthy, honored, and standing tall.

O Allah, bestow Your peace, blessings, and grace upon our Master Muhammad, and upon his family (ra) and all his Companions (ra).
