Takbir March—Allahu Akbar, Legislation Belongs to Allah Alone

Following the Friday prayer on the 5th of Dhu al-Hijjah, 1447 AH, the "Takbir" March—organized by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Tunisia—set out from in front of the Al-Fath Mosque in the capital, Tunis. Attended by a large crowd of the people of Tunis who chanted *Takbir* ("Allahu Akbar) and *Tahlil* ("There is no god but Allah"), the march wound through the capital's main streets leading toward Revolution Street. Throughout the procession, banners were raised; the primary banner bore the inscription: "Allahu Akbar, and Legislation Belongs to Allah Alone." A second banner read: "Allahu Akbar: Islam is Our Identity, and the Caliphate is Our State." A third banner proclaimed: "Allahu Akbar: Islam is Our Deen and Our Way of Life; the Caliphate is Our State, and Jihad is Our Path."

The march concluded in front of the Municipal Theater with a rally, during which a member of Hizb ut Tahrir delivered a speech titled, "And Remember Allah During the Appointed Days." Through this address, he conveyed a message to the Islamic Ummah: that it is a nation ennobled by Allah through Islam—a nation whose roots sprang from the guidance of Divine Revelation, which flourished beneath the shade of the Prophetic Message, and which held fast to Allah’s firm rope. Consequently, no enemy possesses the power to uproot Islam from its very depths. It is a giving nation that once stumbled—a moment during which those lying in wait and the faint-hearted presumed it had perished; yet, their delusion vanished like a mirage. For from the very womb of ash and rubble, this nation now dazzles the world with men who emerge like the true dawn—lions in the public squares, who accept neither compromise nor concession, and into whose hearts fear finds no path. Today, from the very heart of this bitter reality, this faithful vanguard of believers prepares to usher in the dawn of radical and comprehensive change. The train of change shall not halt until the thrones of the *Taghut* (tyrants) are toppled, and upon their ruins is established the Great State of Islam—the Rightly Guided Caliphate upon the Methodology of the Prophethood. It is there—and only then—that the chapter of aimless wandering and subservience will be closed, the rule of coercion will fall, and our Ummah will return to the state Allah intended for it: a crown upon the heads of nations, a fount of justice, a beacon of guidance, and "the best nation produced for humankind."

This march—along with its purposeful slogans—garnered immense popularity across social media platforms. People from within "Green Tunisia" and beyond interacted with it enthusiastically, raising cries of Takbir and Tahlil and expressing their deep yearning for the return of Islam and its State. This march served as a powerful affirmation that the Islamic Ummah today yearns to live under the justice of Islam—having already tasted every form of poverty, humiliation, and degradation under the rule of this unjust, immoral capitalist system and its incompetent, petty rulers—and that it is eager to attain the pleasure of its Lord by following His Messenger.

[فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّي هُدًى فَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا يَضِلُّ وَلَا يَشْقَىٰ (*) وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا]

"So if guidance should come to you from Me—then whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor suffer [misery]. But whoever turns away from My remembrance—indeed, for him is a life of hardship."
