Effectively abdicating itself of responsibility over Indian Occupied Kashmir, the Bajwa-Imran regime confines itself to threats of retaliation over attacks across the Line of Control. The Director General of ISPR on 3 June 2020 cautioned the Hindu State to “not play with fire,” by undertaking military adventurism. However, mere threats failed to deter the year-long military adventurism that the Hindu State has already undertaken in Occupied Kashmir.

However, the issue of moon sighting remained controversial between conflicting limbs of the government itself. Undermining the government appointed Central Ruet-e-Hilal (Crescent Moon Sighting) Committee, the Federal Minister of Science and Technology, Fawad Chaudhry, asserted that the division amongst the Muslims with regard to the sighting of moon is because of rigid adherence to sighting by the naked eye, claiming that it can be resolved by adopting a scientific approach.

Just like the previous corrupt governments, the PTI government has deprived the Muslims of the full benefit of the great mineral and energy wealth of Pakistan, by both maintaining and furthering privatization of both sectors, as stipulated by the World Bank and IMF.

The chief operational commander of Kashmir’s largest Jihadi organization, the Hizb ul Mujahideen, was martyred on 6 May 2020, after a prolonged clash with the terrorist Hindu State’s armed forces. In the last one and a half months, the terrorist Hindu army has martyred thirty-six Mujahedeen.
