Hizb ut Tahrir / Tanzania Launches a Special Campaign
to Defend and Advocate Islamic Aqeedah

On Friday 2nd of Muharram AH / 27 June 2025 CE, after Friday prayer Hizb ut Tahrir / Tanzania via Masoud Msellem, Media Representative of Hizb ut Tahrir / Tanzania launched a special nationwide campaign at Masjid Rahma Buguruni, in the city of Dar es Salaam.

The aim of this two-months campaign starting from month Muharram to Safar 1447 Hijri is to protect and defend the Islamic Aqeedah.

This campaign comes following influx, emergence and spread of devious movements that spread various evil thoughts whose ultimate goal behind the scenes is to combat Islam and cast doubt among Muslims and their religion.

This campaign has the following objectives:

• To counter the idea of interfaith

• To counter the idea of Paganism

• To counter the thoughts of traditional religions and African religions

• To crystallize correct understanding of Islamic doctrine in its entirety

This campaign carries the slogan:

‘Reject interfaith, Christianity, Paganism, idolatry, and Stick with Islam”

The campaign will utilize various styles to promote itself and conveys its message to the public, such as:

• - Public talk in Islamic platforms

• - Public debate with Christians and other entities that hold ideologies that are against Islam

• - Writing and distributing articles in public and on social media

• - Writing and submitting open letters to institutions and various non-Islamic communities exposing weaknesses of their thoughts and explain truth of Islam

• - Sharing videos clips on social media

• - Utilizing platform of Friday Khutbas

• - Issuing Press releases

• - Picketing

• - Online Tv and radio programmes etc.

Hizb ut Tahrir / Tanzania calls upon all segment in society to fully participate in this important campaign. For Muslims, they would further gain explanation on their religion, and as for non-Muslims, there would be noble opportunity to study and investigate about Islam through rational arguments and evidence.
