On 16th February 2017, the Sydney newspaper “The Daily Telegraph” reported that Crossbench Senator Jacqui Lambie insists her move to ban the burqa from public places has emboldened ‘oppressed’ Muslim women previously afraid to speak out.

After the fall of the Taliban regime, the United States tried to claim that the educational system in Afghanistan has grown rapidly. They see the construction and rebuilding of some schools and the possibility of school attendance for a percentage of girls as their greatest success since the colonialisation. But a short overview of the Education System in the war-torn country shows that this so-called progress is only an illusion.

The problems caused by the secular education system within Muslim lands are very similar. Despite this, Turkey's secular education policy has succeeded to become a 'role-model' in the field of education in a number of Muslim countries. Unfortunately however, the failure in Turkey’s education policy has been certified through international studies.

It appears that the year 2030 will be full of prospective radical changes according to the vision of the United Nations and its different organisations. That is because it represents the year in which it has promised to accomplish the following UN vision: “Changing our World: 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” that was launched in September of last year.
