In the early hours of Monday night, 13/8/2018, Pakistani security forces raided Dr. Roshan's house and kidnapped her with her husband. The kidnapping came just two weeks after Sister Romana Hussein was kidnapped after finding Hizb ut Tahrir books and leaflets in her home.

A multi-party conference (MPC) called to devise a joint strategy over alleged rigging in the 2018 general elections on Friday rejected the results of the poll, demanding a "transparent" re-election. China has added another incident of discrimination to its long list of atrocities against the Uyghur minority in East Turkestan, which has led to the region being deemed as a “police state.” Police in Eastern Turkistan cut the dresses of Muslim Uyghur women in the middle of the street with the justification that their frocks were “too long,”
